My 72-y-o husband said the same when he fell down our stairs and needed a good bit of surgical mending, "I learned to fall in acting classes when I was 17. I've fallen down stairs dozens of times and never hurt myself, why now?"<br /><br />His quick reflexes (along with his eyesight) departed his building some years ago and he's taken up falling down as a hobby. <br /><br />Me thinks you fellas are not so pliable as you once were. Though this doesn't diminish your charm overall, it does give you a certain "porcelain" quality, and like all of us "elders" the light of eternity begins to glow through the eggshell.
