Views from a Japanese mountainside
I did not understand a word of language but did have tears in my eyes at the end of the video. You do live in a lovely place.
I got a kick out of the acceptance speech by the Japanese director who won the Oscar for best animated short film. It was like the "thank you" version of "Good Night Moon." And then he ended it with, "domo arigato mister roboto!" It was adorable.
Thank you so much for that preview. I am looking forward to seeing the movie. What area of Japan do you live in?
You're most welcome, Delwyn. I live in Shiga, beside Lake Biwa, on the slope of what I call Pure Land Mountain.
