  4. I always wanted to see how Kerouac actually 'handled' his words when spoken, to see what kind of a reader he was, what kind of a wordvoice, since he read his work aloud so rarely in public. He sure didn't disappoint; he knew those words in his soul. Kudos to Steve Allen, for enabling such a thing to happen on tv back in those uptight days.
