THINGS YOU MISS WHEN YOU LEAVE JAPAN 

A quick list of things I shall miss about Japan :(: (self.japan)

Background: I grew up in Japan and have been living in the US for the past 15+ years. My grandmother passed away in May and so I returned to Japan after being away for many years. Here is a quick list I compiled of things that I will miss about Japan when I go back to the States tomorrow.

    A great list from that blogger. Explain Japanese mayo... btw, dragonflies are here as well... so are cicadas...

    Japanese mayo has a more eggy taste and seems richer than brands in North America, and of course it also comes in wasabi flavour. A favourite brand is Kewpie. And Japanese potato salad made with it is the yummiest.

    You can keep the cicadas. The crows are bad enough. :(
