some days 

taking out the trash 

is victory

It's the work of a lifetime 

to find the treasures 

we were born with 

Mountain stage -  

wind sings 

bamboo dances 

Shocking, all the things 

my body can do 

that I can't...

When I first looked up 

and saw the full moon -- 

The mind I had then 

Rainy days shoelaces, traffic lights - They know.

Firewood -
acts all innocent 

knows where your toes are

stupid me -- blamed the chisel when it was the hammer’s fault 

Songbird way up in the sky - saw sunrise first

Tiny so green frog 

sunning on garden latch -

 I'll get lettuce later

window...

                                                            ...sky

setting free the dragonfly

Rain and Lake 

never stop 

becoming each other

Little bird -

how do you fit all the morning 

into your song

Pinecone, seeds gone - 

all that’s left 

is beauty

No moon - 

newflooded paddies 

sparkle with galaxies

  Way up there tiny warbler sings a whole sky full

Spring wind 

wants every thing 

where it belongs

Arms waving,

wild dancing - no mistaking 

plum tree joy

and nudges - but The Frogs

are performing live

Out in the garden
blossom to blossom
butterfly starts the vegetables
