CROWS MAKE IT HAPPEN
The crows seem to be up to something-- They're flying outward from some cryptic crow center like the momentarily black spokes of some vast unseen wheel they know all about, each one calling back CAW, CAW as they wing outward, and when I look up again they've all disappeared from the wheelless blue that just hangs there in all eternity, silent and crowless as only a summer sky can.
Crows can do that with a sky.

Crows are such bright, purposeful creatures: http://willtaft.com/did-you-know/crows-are-very-smart-birds/
Do u think they are putting the word out about you? *wink*
We have a pair that has one baby a year in a tree outside our window. We have been listening to the chicks for so many years, it all seems normal. This year, the chick didn't caw right. Then it vanished. Now it's returned as an adult....still with it's half voice. My husband says it's a dyslexic crow.
I thought I might share my crow story with you.
A nest outside your window!? What a racket that must be at Baby Huey feeding time...
