Seems like the Repubs want to put a bandaid on this.. Logically, how is raising the debt gonna help? Its just prolonging the problem... In California the Repubs voted against higher taxes... Crazy huh? Almost sounds like bad parenting...

It's embarrassing, when viewed from abroad...
Let's publicly and petulantly take on even more debt for our financially strapped constituents!

Makes me wonder how the rest of the world views the u.s.? or do other countries follow suit? I hope not... I will never understand the 'logic' of this..Guess the same folks that back this are surprised that the Dow is still gonna tumble down.. The Dow has already started falling as predicted.

I believe we are now supporting Economic Terrorists in this country.......... can't believe they are still getting a paycheck from the taxpayers!

The last week has been a week of letter writing and hunkering down as I watched the ET's in Washington almost run the world economy off the rails

Glad I have a garden and it's tomato season......

When will government get out of big businesses pockets and govern for the good of all people?

Handouts just teach us to keep putting out our hand; goes for everyone, poor and big business.

feels like I'm standing at the gates of Rome in her final days...........

this says it all for where the priorities in this country lie........
