Salted

Lower your salt intake to lower your blood pressure? Nah. I use salt whenever I want to (good sea salt, not refined iodized type) - not all that much, but somewhat more than the average daily intake - and have always done so. I like salt on a lot of my stuff, and worship at the savory altars of akadashi, tsukemono and umeboshi. Last week at age 72, my annual checkup showed my blood pressure to be 96 over 67. The lower the better, said the doc.

Its all in the genes... my good cholesterol is twice the number of what it should be... overall my count is high w/a disclaimer that its high due to the 'good'....
Wish my bp was as low as yours! My son's is what yours is... and he's 23

I think I have that low bp because I have an old habit of supercalming when get tested, trying to reach my "real" base bp, which I suppose has turned out to be a good thing, learning the biofeedback of how to do that and making it a habit... Out in the world I sort of sense when it might be getting too high and zone it down...
