"Secondly, the President in authorizing surveillance without seeking a court order has committed a crime. The Federal Communications Act criminalizes surveillance without a warrant" hardly qualifies as 'High crimes and misdemeanors' In fact, it's a lot less a crime than repetitive perjury to hide ongoing adultery. But I guess when you're grasping at straws, anything will do to smear a man who remains president of the United States.

Anonymous, the straws are in your hand. A lot of folks still love Adolf, too. Adultery is an unconscionable crime for dessicated puritans, maybe, or the otherwise sexless. We'll see how this constitutional violation plays out, and if the US is yet a democracy.

But adultery was not the charge now, was it? It was perjury, plain and simple.

Winkled out (at great and pointless cost) by prurient prudes, pure and simple.
