BRAIN SCIENCE FROM THE INSIDE OUT

"How many brain scientists have been able to study the brain from the inside out? I've gotten as much out of this experience of losing my left mind as I have in my entire academic career."

Darn... I wanted to watch this but the video won't load for me. Maybe my computer needs some R&R.

Hope you can get the digikinks out, Kathleen; it's sure a thought-provoking lecture.

Have seen this lecture and quite profound indeed. I could only wish that the many stroke patients with whom I've encountered could make the gains she has. Many factors come into play to result in the recovery she has had.

Really like the series of photos on your left sidebar.

A restart did wonders, Bob. I was finally able to view the lecture. As you say, it is thought-provoking... I never would have imagined an event as serious as a stroke could, in the end, actually result in a spiritual experience. For Jill Bolte, it appears to have been exactly that.

It gives one much to think about, indeed.
