Drove by the White House again this mornign. And George W. Bush is STILL the president of the United States.

Give 'im a break, he's still got three years, during which time the "last throes" of the insurgency should fizzle out and be replaced by Jeffersonian democracy, which is then certain to spread all over the Middle East.

God help us, there are people who actually believed that, and sent America's kids over to die for a delusion like that.

God help us.

Must be terrible to live near the white house, even anonymously.

Three more years of the worst prez in US history, with the vast majority now regretting the choice and wanting a "completely different" kind of prez next time.

But then there's the 2006fix, the early beginning of the bitter end.

It's actually very comforting to know he's still the president and is not swayed by fleeting popularity polls but stays with the solid values which the majority of the nation hold true. I also remember that people believed John Kennedy was a great president, that is until they heard the whole story.

We'll let you ex-pats believe what you read on your blogs. They're more misguided than the MSM and liberal nay-sayers.
